THE STORY OF THE LAKE EFTENIA

Once upon a time, there was a vey beautiful princess .Her name was Eftenia. She was very ill.Her father was Nikoment, the King of Byzantina.One day,The King and his soldiers came to Düzce and stayed in the forest near the lake.The King saw water's boiling in the lake .The princess swam in that boiling water and she got well.This was miracle.So, the lake was called Eftenia (the name of the princess).
Today the lake is a paradise of the birds. You can see many kinds of birds in the lake.
